Dazin is a seriously innovative company, tackling the important issues of both fuel security and health in developing countries. They aim to provide renewable cooking fuel pellets, the model being free for rural households and at below market prices for urban & commercial customers. A scary fact is that smoke from traditional open fires accounts for 4 million deaths annually (4th largest killer) in the world, impacting mostly women and children.
Dazin manufactures and distributes fuel pellets and gas stoves that every household in Bhutan and in other Asian regions can use to meet cooking/heating energy needs.
